Slow cooker pork tenderloin. This recipe makes a tender, flavorful pork tenderloin with a cannabis infused marinade made with the Levo Oil machine. All from scratch!
I want to be honest here, I love my slow cooker. In fact, up until two weeks ago I was the proud owner of two slow cookers! Then, my sister Billie came by, took one and that was all she wrote. But, I digress.
In addition to loving my slow cooker, I love a slow cooked pork tenderloin and if you’re reading this series you know I love cannabis. So, I am really excited to share this recipe because I infused cannabis into my cooking oil for this using the Levo Oil machine.
Now, I don’t infuse cannabis often because I find the process to be cumbersome. With the decarboxylation, the cheesecloth, strainer, etc., it just becomes too much. The Levo oil machine, however, made the infusing process SUPER easy and didn’t require all the extra accessories. In fact, when I opened the box I was instantly reminded of a coffeemaker. It’s not much bigger than my mini Keurig, to be honest.
While the Levo machine makes infusing oils simple, you will have to take your cannabis through the decarboxylation process prior to infusing.
The Levo oil machine is made especially for infusing butters and oils with ANY herb. From mint to lavender, to, you know, cannabis!
Below is the recipe for the cannabis infused marinade.
RECIPE (Slow Cooker Pork Tenderloin)
- Dash of Rainbow Peppercorns
- Mix the soy sauce, avocado oil and honey together in a bowl and whisk
- Add in the peppercorns and roasted garlic
- Rinse, pat dry, and remove any excess fat from the tenderloin
- Allow the tenderloin to marinate for at least an hour in the fridge
- Transfer the loin to the slow cooker, pouring the marinade over the loin
- Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours
- When the roast is done, transfer the pork tenderloin to a serving platter and cover to keep it warm
RECIPE (Roasted Sweet Potato and Pears)
- 2 ripe pears
- 2 teaspoon cinnamon
- Preheat oven to 400°F
- Peel and cut sweet potatoes and pears, add to a mixing bowl
- Add oil and cinnamon
- Speak mixture on large baking sheet or roasting pan lined with foil or parchment paper
- Bake sweet potatoes for 45 – 60 minutes (I love the charcoal effect, so I roast 60 minutes)
After letting the roast sit for about 10 minutes after removing it from the slow cooker I dug in!
So much so, that I forgot to get a pic of the roast straight from the Crock Pot. Instead, my partner and I went to work on this meal!
After about two hours, we were feeling the effects of the strain we used to infuse the oil, Wedding Cake. We were relaxed and happy and had a ton of random jokes stemming from the latest episode of Star Trek Discovery.
I would recommend starting the serving size at 2 pieces of roast and about a cup and a half of the roasted vegetable side dish. Always start slow with edibles!
Levo Oil Machine Review
Overall, I LOVE it. The machine retails for $199.00 and comes in 4 colors including Rose Gold and Avocado! What I love about the machine is that you can infuse ANY oil with ANY herb and the process is simple, as you’ll see in the video below. The cleanup was easy and it’s dishwasher safe.
I am very impressed with this machine and the role that it can play within the cannabis industry. You can use the machine to infuse oils with your previously vaped bud, which means you’re extending the life of the bud. Plus, you could use your infusions to create topicals or other beauty products.
Imagine cannabis infused body oil with lavender or peppermint…bissshhhh the ideas are endless. You could start an entire side hustle with the Levo Oil machine.
So, there you have it guys! Two simple, easy-peasy recipes that will get and keep you lit for no less than 3 hours!
Special thanks to Levo Oil for sending me this machine to review.
